We backpacked from our staging area close to Tenaya Lake in Yosemite (Elevation 8150 Ft.) to Sunrise Lake (Elevation 9500 Ft.).  We climbed over 1000 Ft on about a 3.5 mile hike.  It took us about 5 hours to get there, mainly because this ol' Grandpa needed to take many breaks.  Mike's backpack weighed about 50 pounds, Ray's Camelback and sleeping bag which he carried was probably 1/3 of his weight and I carried about 30 pounds.  We enjoyed 2 nights right next to the lake.  The trip back down took about 2 hours.
